Beaches/ Taste
Ionion Sea is famous for its crystal waters, so clean & transparent that makes swimming a unique experience every time! In Ithaca you will find many such beaches that you can reach by land like Loutsa, Filiatro, Dexa, Minimata, Agios Ioannis, but also some more beautiful beaches that are accessible only by sea such as the famous Gidaki with its white shingles & turquoise waters !
You can enjoy your meal in one of many traditional restaurants on the island. Do not forget to taste the traditional cooking of the island such as savoro, tserepa, sofigado & for desert the well known "rovani" & "troufa".
